Where to Buy?

I've been looking around for this game, since I LOVE the demo and want the full version... but I can't find it anywhere. [&:]
No stores seem to have any copies of it, and I live in Toronto. What stores carry this game? Maybe I'm just unlucky. [:(]

Currently, the game is only available from purchase directly from matrix. here is a link to the store. The good news is that you can download and play right off the bat!

Ahhhh... that explains it. No wonder why all the employees at FutureShop stared at me funny when no record of the game popped up on the computer. [:'(]

So If the staff at FutureShop were on the ball, could they pay for a download, burn it onto a CD and charge you extra for it? Would that be legal? Anywhere in the world?

Louie,
It's available both for download and as a boxed product via our online store, which ships to anywhere in the world. There is both a US and a European warehouse, so if you want a box shipping will be lowest in those two regions. However, the downloads are available worldwide and free you from shipping costs and delays. If you have a slow or poor quality internet connection, download tools like
www.stardownloader.com can help retrieve even large files over a period of hours without frustrating disconnections and restarts.
Regards,
- Erik

No that would not be legal.

I'm probably going to buy it with the Box Shipping Plus Download option, that way I have a permanent copy in the box (it just feels more complete that way, it's worth the extra charge in my opinion) and can have the satisfaction of playing the game immediately. I love DSL. [:D]

I would agree if there was a manual, but as long as you have a serial code and can re-download if you loose the game due to a PC crash - I see no point in getting a hard backup.

And the purchase has been made! I am now a proud owner of Tin Soldiers: Alexander the Great. The download is just over 50%... I can't wait for it to finish. And in a few weeks at most, I should have the box in my hands. Sure it cost me an extra $15 Canadian, but I'm one of those people who just needs to have the complete feel to the purchase. [:)]
Plus, burned CD's are lost too easily and it's a hassle to have to download it all the time. I have no patience. [:'(]

PLease note that you can only redownload within 30 days of purchase. So a backup of the file (if you have not ordered the physical version) is strongly recommended.
