I'm playing scenario 15 "War in the Pacific". Not that I with the random start did much better... I lost 2 BB's in Pearl Harbor.
But never mind. The firste attack, the navelbombardment toke place on the 13/8-42 and were purely US surface ships attacking Tokyo. All british Hurricans were stationed in either Singapore, Saigon or Camranh Bay. All british Hurricans are on 90% CAP due to lack of suitable targets within thier limited reach. The only attack wich included Hurricans on this day were a Japanese attack:

The massive airattack by Flying fortress and Libarator toke place on 18/9-42. The planes toke off from Iwo Jima. After stratigic bombing Japan for some time the losses of planes grew.
