Morale???

Loss of Morale (higher morale #) leads to lower unit quality, how does this apply to your units? eg: combat penalties?
I understand higher fatigue can delay orders but what does morale do? Thanks in advance[8D].

I'd have to check the rules, but offhand I know that they have a tendancy to not follow the orders given and essentially (if too far gone) try to save themselves by avoiding combat and contact.
