Right-click problem

I've noticed that right clicking on units close to the top of the screen doesn't properly place the pop-up menu so that I can see it in its entirety. To see the top options in the right-click menu, I often have to reposition the map so that the unit is towards the bottom of the screen.

Rainbow,
I can't duplicate this problem, could you possibly post a screenshot?

Don't often take screenshots. My prt/sc key doesn't seem to do anything (or at least I can't tell where it's dumping the captures). Is there an easy way of doing this in Win XP without installing new software?
Also, the menu placement isn't consistent. Sometimes it's placed correctly. Sometimes it's not. In about 20 attempts just now, it placed incorrectly twice.

PRT/Sc key does a snapshot of the current screen and dumps it in the "clipboard".
1. hit the PRT/SC key, open up MS Paint
2. In MS Paint, click [EDIT], click [PASTE]
3. click [FILE], click [SAVE AS]
4. Save as a JPEG to a location of your choice
5. Remember the location [;)]
6. Attach to a post here. Keep in mind that the file size limit for attachements is 200kb.

Since my first post, my (very) limited testing suggests that it happens when the unit is somewhere mid-screen on the vertical. Here you go ...

What´s your monitors resolution, any Windows "enhancements" running in the background?

Problem noted. Give me a chance to reproduce it too. I have not ever seen it on my system but I did have a playtester in Australia that reported it twice and then had it 'go away'.

I have it (my laptop screen) set at 1024x768. As I also said, it doesn't happen all the time, and not even twice in a row at the same position. But it happened enough times during the first tutorial that I noticed it.
As for windows enhancements, not sure what you mean, though I do have some of the advanced display effects turned on, such as menu shading and font smoother, etc.

I have reproduced the problem and is seems to happen in 1024 x 768 mode when the unit is in the middle of the map vertically and there are 20+ menu items in the popup menu list. I put a row of units across the map in this situation and 3 of the 8 had menus that went north and were truncated and the rest went south and were fine. Hmmm. My immediate reaction was to remove a couple of the horizontal line entries and that does indeed fix it in this particular case by shortening the list sufficiently. What I really need is a way to guarantee that the problem will not resurface in some other combination of factors and that will take a little playing around.
Thanks, Rainbow, for the input. Watch for the fix in version 1.0.1.
Cheers, Rob.
