Would you like to have a class reference PDF document?

Hi all. I am thinking about creating a PDF file which has a list of all classes in the game, but make it like a Janes book.
I.e., it will have the class name, number of ships in the class, the weapons, armor, and a little blurb of historical info about the class. Then it will explain the upgrades, saying what is added and the advantage/disadvantage of upgrading.
Would anyone actually take the time to use this document for reference purposes? It won't be in a table format, but a book format, i.e. 1 page per class. I may (though doubtfully) put in the in game graphic (greyscaled) to kind of round out the thing. So, vote here!

Since i know very little about ships in this period I think such a document is a necessity.

I said no, but I think you should include one... sigh.
[&:] Let me explain:
I am relatively familiar with the ships and classes of the period. Enough to get by, anyway. I know the difference between predreadnought, dreadnought, and superdreadnought capital ships. I have enough hardbound reference material on hand to look up stuff while in game, if I need to.
I don't like to ALT-TAB out of software to run other software. (Like WiTP and Adobe at the same time.) I am too old. I was trained in computer repair in the eighties, and the desktops of the day were not capable of multitasking. Old habits die hard. I still wince when I see folks downloading several things at once, printing, playing music on the cdrom, formatting a floppy, and instant message chatting all at the same time. [8|]
However, I realise I am a unique bird, and this reference will do a lot of people with only a passing familiarity with the time period some good. Also, it adds chrome to an otherwise less than graphically stunning game.[;)]

I'm too old too. In college they hadn;t come up with hand calculators yet much less computers. But i don't have the Library or the room to store all the naval history necessary to keep up with the time periods.

Well, if a 16 to 1 ratio (and the one even consenting to it), I'll take that as a yes that people want it. So far its up to 105 pages and is till not done.
The General format is a Janes style, one class per page.
Below is an excerpt, covering the San Diego class armored cruiser.
Note, the thing is not finished, so there are spelling errors in it [;)]

WOW
all i can say
wait.....looks like something Matrix should have put in the WITP box (sorry for the snipe Matrix) but really not all of us know every ship and gadget.
Not to mention a listing of weapons, bombs, torps, guns, tanks etc would have been nice too

Thanks a lot my friend. While this can be vied as the document, I am making it in such a way that it can be printed off, and turned into a quick and cheap ship manual. Time permitting, I'll add in aircraft and weapons.

Nicely done with the example above. How many pages would it take to print out the ship data PDF?
Aircraft would be nice, but what would the weapons data be used for? (The combat sequences are hands-off.)

Well, I am doing this as both a game manual, and a general history type book. So far its up to 117 pages, and I still have British submarines and all Japanese warships to do. I am trying to make this as comprehensive as possible, yet make it accessible and easy to understand.

OK. Brings more converts to the "naval historian" type of enthusiast.
I have noticed that you are busy here and over at the "combined histroical mod". Your one busy dude.
Thanks for the time and effort sir.
I am looking forward to the release of both WPO and CHM.
