This would be my first PBEM game of WitP, although I've played UV by mail before so am not new to the game system.

Euro TimeZone would be ideal for getting the turns in, I'd look to do at least 1 per day on average, hopefully quite a bit more. And I won't quit early if things don't go for me...

Realism options on - Sub Doc either both on or both off, don't mind.
No USSR attack - other house rules open to discussion, but if it prevents 'gameyness' then it should be OK by me

Still open? I'd be interested in playing allies, and wouldn't mind restart with patch 1.5 when it's out, if you don't want to play on. I'm working as freelancer, mostly from home, therefore can do turns during the day and most of the time one or the other in the evening too (depending on girlfriend....).
