Brits carrying "entrenched" status with them in MC?

Is it my imagination or what? I'm in the 1st MC scenario; Germans fighting the Brits in the desert. Quite a few times, as I'm chasing the retreating Brit infantry; when I trip over them initially they are "entrenched" with the little sandbag swimming pool around them. I whack them enough and they pull back and dissappear. Next turn, I find them again in thier new hiding spot and they are entrenched again! I thought entrenching was a several turn process. I remember Dave saying that units are now "auto-entrenching" if not suppressed. These Brits seem to be carring around their entrenchments like an extra pair of trousers!

Hex description says "entrenched," or "Fortified Hex?"

I'm pretty sure it says "entrenched" with the icon being the minor, smaller scale sandbags that dissappear from the map when the infantry bugs out. I'll check again tonight. Because of the smoke & dust limiting visability, I can't be 100% sure that it really is the same unit but it seems to be.

Have you seen this?

I've had my PzIIIs get the sandbags around them after sitting for a few turns and gaining "in cover" status.

This a "bug/feature" units leaving cover get some benefit immediately upon leaving, ie you are hitting them as some guys are moving and others haven't yet. But once they are "out" they lose any "in cover" status immediately thereafter.
