Wild Bill will be having a make-up chat at 8pm eastern time on Friday the 13th(insert movie reference here), and at 1pm eastern time on Saturday the 14th(insert really bad parody here).
The capacity problem has been solved. We can now hold up to 200 people. I deeply regret any confusion over the chat on the 6th. We are striving hard to improve the chat room.

If you need help with calculating your local time please respond in this thread.

Speaking of the 13th. My wife went into labor almost 3 years ago early in the day on a Friday the 13th. She was so supersticous with it she held my daughter in until after midnight, refusing anything (including medication for the pain) that might speed up the delivery.

Now she and my daughter are flying home tonight (the 13th) to visit her family in Louisiana. You can't imagine the things I've had to listen to since I booked that flight on this particular date

I thought I'd try out the chat system in preparation for the big event, and quickly ran into a problem - my rampant javaphobia

I was wondering if that java applet is just a fancy IRC client. And if it is, where would I point a regular IRC client? I tried unix.matrixgames.com:4444 with limited success - it let me connect, then promptly ignored me. Just like my phone company

Is there any hope for me?

The chat is on a private server. To the best of my knowledge the only way to join is through using the browser. I will look into it and poat once I have an answer.

How about giving those times using GMT. I have no clue what those "eastern" etc. times are...
