Here are shots of two of the three French ships in the game.


The Dupleix class Desaix. Armed with 6.4" guns, she is a large protected cruiser, though rated as an armored cruiser.


The Edgar Quinet class Waldeck-Rousseau. Armed with 7.6" guns, she is the equal of most other nations armored cruisers.

Whoa! This is great, Tanker. When did this happen? Keep the multinational stuff coming. I think it adds a very tasty demention to the game.

Well, thanks to that sentiment(and some extra time) I am re adding in the Dutch fleet, including the uncompleted Java class Celebes. However, they arrive as reinforcements in 1926-1927.

yes very cool! The entire french Navy consists of 3 ships in the pacific? I have no clue about that time period, but this is historical?

I don't know if it is 100% historical, but these are the only ships I can confirm as being in the Far East during WWI and the 1920s.

Historical? I thought the whole point of htis was a HYPOTHETICAL war. That's okay though Tanker, I love your work here, keep it coming.

It is hypothetical in terms of what happens once it starts (sans Washington Treaty). However, I am trying to make it as historical as is possible up until war breaks out.

Don't forget the possibility that the French might send reinforcements once the war starts. If you have room it might be fun to add in maybe a Mediterranean Fleet Battle Squadron rushed to the scene via Suez. What would it take, two months? (To get the ships there... I'm not belittling your work whatsoever!). [8D]

looks very cool actually. Will the japs have a chance though? seems to me like you would need to give them more than they had historically, no?

aren't those underwater torpedo mounts which were in a forward firing position ? In the graphic they are LS/RS.

According to my sources, while many French cruisers had bow torpedo mounts, these two carried them in broadside tubes. If a reputable source conflicts with this, I will change it.
