Yes, I feel stupid. I have been using computers for a long time and have done some networking, yet, I cannot seem to get TOS setup to play via Battle HQ. I have mine and the host's IP's from the green dot in the Battle HQ room. We also tried the IP's that show up in TOS at the Network Game section. We tried both IP's in the OPTIONS section of TOS. We have e-mailed my squad data to the host. He "creates" the game and I try to join. It just keeps pinging the Host's IP and nothing happens. We have tried using "Direct Play", "not using it, clicking the "Resume" prompt that says the server is supsended during play, not clicking it. I do have Zone Alarm and Norton running in the background, we tried shutting these off too.

Are there special parameters that need to be set??

We are confused and any helpwould be greatly appreciated. I have been reading FAQ's and other stuff with no luck and do not want to interupt anyone's game to ask.

I have set my zone alarm to accept my Host's IP. I am also using a wireless router. Do I need to configure the router with my IP? Does Battle HQ assign you an IP from their server?

The game tries to do a direct tcp/ip connection from host to client. Therefore both must accept each others ip at port 42121 (tos ws v1.21). So your firewall/router/whatever must be configured to allow this. Never used battle HQ for this.
