Transport Helicopters

I found some transport helicopters in the platforms list like the Lynx, MI-2 Hoplite, MI-26 Halo which don't have any weapons. For what purpose can we use them? Is there a hidden transport feature?

I noticed those...Hopefully we can look forward to running some heliborne assaults at some point in the not too distant future.

Thats great. I would love to have some raid action with airborne troops and speznatz
