Matrix Games to Host Live Chat with 2by3 Games on Feb 17th at 10:00 PM Eastern

Matrix Games and 2 By 3 Games (www.2by3games.com) are happy to announce a live chat session with Joel Billings and Gary Grigsby of Gary Grigsby’s World at War that is open to the general public. The topics of discussion will be their upcoming title Gary Grigsby's World at War and their previous title War in the Pacific, which is currently available from the Matrix Games website.

This rare opportunity gives fans and newcomers to the genre a chance to ask the creators of the game nearly anything they want, either about the games or about developing complex strategy titles. The chat is set to begin on Thursday, 17th February, at 10:00 PM Eastern US time from the Matrix Games website. The chat is accessible through the Services section of the Matrix Games website (www.matrixgames.com/services/LiveChat.asp). Joel, Gary, and others will be taking questions from as many fans as time allows.

Joseph Lieberman, Public Relations Manager at Matrix Games said, “We are pleased to bring this opportunity to the many Gary Grigsby fans and hope to create some new fans in the process. 2By3Games is a great company with a great staff behind it, but don’t take my word for it, you can talk to them yourself on Thursday.”

Gary Grgisby's World at War takes you through four World War 2 scenarios where 5 playable powers battle across 38 different countries with 15 different unit types. Each unit type has up to 14 attributes, which you can upgrade through careful research of new technology during the war. Rules cover everything from strategic movement to cold weather and even deals with managing supply lines in the advanced mode of the game. With a challenging AI, PBEM capability, and an in depth tutorial, World at War will make you a general in a day but keep you occupied year round.

Starting in 15 minutes! As long as the software cooperates, we should have a transcript.
