Components

To the community at large,

Does anyone have the correct name or design structure lines available so that the ship systems have reparable components.

For example, the Orion flight decks have parts that can be repaired or replaced. However, in all of my modded ships, these decks are stand alone items with no repair capability. Even when I use the exact same names, they still come up blank on the mod ships. The sensor drones are likewise a similar problem, but far from the only ones.

Anybody got any insight?

Did you give the ships repair teams? For example, repair_teams: 4 gives you 4 teams (strangely enough), and repair_auto will make the ship self-repair.

Yes, that is standard on my cap ships (even some of my fighters). The problem is that if there are no components, no repair action occurs.

You have design: "Flight Deck" in your flightdeck: section?

Now, how about decoy and probe. What is the proper name in the design or name callout?

Probe is, funnily enough, design: "Probe". There's no decoy subsystem from what I can see, but you can make one yourself, I'm sure.

I'm still planning on writing a web app which will catalogue all this stuff. I recommend people bug me until I do it ;)
