I have played very few , strategy only, games. The reasons are 1. that i don't trust the reviews from magazines 2. I am sure that i will not find a game that will satisfy me 100% and that, because of the AI. I am a solo player and thus the AI is very important.
PS its very difficult for those who are not familiar with english to write in forums

You've got good reason to be wary of reviews, valter. For example, one player recently posted being able to beat the AI in Korsun Pocket by repeatedly doing *nothing* but hitting the end turn button. This despite reviews praising the "great AI." I'm in the same boat as you, valter. I'm a single player gamer only and am still waiting for the realistic wargame with killer AI. Sorry to say, I've never found it and probably never will [:(]

My reply to the post complaining about the AI in Korsun Pocket, made three points.

(1) Winning against the AI by doing nothings is just a cheap trick, and one that won't work in most scenarios.

(2) A 'Killer AI' that can beat the best human players simply isn't possible. If you wait for that, in a game of any complexity, you'll never buy a game.

(3) By definition, most human players are not as good as the best human players. There are plenty of unsolicited testimonials from human players honest enough to admit that they were beaten, sometimes repeatedly, by our AI routines. Maybe you will fall into that category, and be the sort of player who is given a good challenge by the game, especially at first, where the AI can often surprise human players.

Lastly, you'll never know if you don't give it a go.
