Where will be the first question after I get my name/counters/data mod done. 1.0.1 allows for each unit to have a unique counter image. It will take a little time to get all 170+ done. I'm also looking to add in some more formations for cross attaching purposes (AD/AT/Helo). I also need to take any 1.0.2 changes into account too.

Are you able to change the silhouette graphic?

For instance with units of all M2 Bradley's, can you change the M113 APC to an M2 image?

Oh, one question: is the vehicle type (M1A1) a part of the toggle with the "I" key?

regards

If you mean with SAX the Saxon APC then you have made a error. The Warrior is the UK IFV. The Saxon is a APC with Wheels.

Yep. Should have said that myself in the first post. It will be correct when I'm done (I had a sequencing glitch going into the scenario and got the wrong graphic).

The ID tags with the cryptic 3/1 etc have been replaced with this type tag. You still can get HQ and company info from the tool tip or side window for the unit. The (*) indicates an HQ unit. I'm also taking a suggestion from another post and adding a little pennant to the upper corner too.

I'm looking forward to new counter artwork for Flashpoint Germany! Check out Volcano Man's Art Work from the HP Games on the link below.

Yes Volcano Man makes some superb mods for the PZC series. There are some superb ones for Squad Battles aswell. Infact I wish he put his talents into SB aswell.

Anyway this is about Flashpoint Germany and those counters look superb. Did you draw the images yourself or find them somewhere? If so was it on the web and if it was do they have ones similar for WW2?

Some WIP on the units Sil's.

I hope to have them ready to go this weekend depending on some data tweaks and word back from the FPG team on method of release. At a minimum the new Sil's we be a go.

Just a little update on the unit counter mod.

NATO units are done and I'm working through the WP forces tonight as I speak. With any luck I'll be posting something on Sunday.

Edit: Sunday Morning. Got 'em done. Got some pics (from an older test scenario). Enjoy.

Get your Unit Graphics Here...

NOTE: This is the correct version and should work on the rest of the worlds game.

Here is the unit graphics file for download.
1. Make a backup copy or rename FPG Unit Counters2.bml file. It is in the Graphics folder.
2. Download the 'TXT' file and rename the .txt to .zip.
3. Unzip it into your Graphics folder after step 1 (don't trash the original).

Some notes:
1. The ID name tags are not part of this file. So no T-80 or AH64 will appear. That is coming in my next Mod and it only works in new created scenarios (at least until some point were, hopefully, the Dev's will have the canned scenarios update data on loading from the data folder).
2. Some units may not look the greatest, but it is difficult working on a 17 high by 40 wide pixel canvas.
3. The only unit with a "bogus" unit graphic is the Russian engineering unit. If anyone has a good side view of one from 89 let me know. I hunted for over an hour last night.
4. HQ units have a little flag in the upper corner of the counter. I wish I could remeber who mentioned that in another thread. Thanks. It was a good idea.
5. No, I can't say how any of this work was done. [;)] I've been talking to some of the Dev crew and promised not to say.
6. I can, however, take on requests other then maps. I haven't got a clue.

Enjoy. More to come!

I think I found a bug. This is intended to work with retail version scenarios right?

German Pz HQ´s have a "Marder" shillouette and german PzG HQ´s have a "Leopard" shilloutte.

Marc,

I'm checking things out. The database entry and counter sil ID' s look okay. I've got one other possible error source to check. I'll let you know.

EDIT: Everything looks good from a data standpoint. What scenario are you playing?

Two questions:
1) Rename folder to .zip ? The file i dd'd is a text file but no .txt after it, i assume adding a .zip is enough? I do this all the time[8|][;)] sorry!
2) The only changes are the "unit counters" right? I am not too comfortable with "backing up" files when i can just re-install if need be eg: new bug etc. So if i like what i see, which i do[&o], it's a done deal.

Messed up indexing with Mod
