Hi --

I just got the game this morning and have installed it on a pretty high falutin' laptop issued from work (hey, I wanted one title I could take with me on trips, and as the boss doesn't care, so what?)

It runs fine, but I have a question about tutorial 1#.

I'm supposed to select the 1 Battalion HQ and issue orders for an attack on German garrison units immediately to the north.

Done.

But I thought the point of the game was I issue orders to an HQ (just click on that one image), and it can coordinate the action with its subordinate units. Once I started the turn, the HQ and HQ only started chugging towards that town, leaving its companies behind. Now the tutorial says I should be seeing it set up bases of fire and allocating a reserve -- I don't see that.

Do I have to group select the HQ and ALL its companies?

when you select the hq do the subordinates change color? (that's a/b/c companies and the mortar unit) This shows they are attached. If they don't they will have to be reattached for the hq to control them.
