I've noticed that certain allied aircraft are missing from the aircraft factories in the US West Coast such as the F4F-3 and F4F-4 Wildcat, F6F Hellcat, F4U-A and F4U-1D Corsair, the TBF and TBM Devestator, P40B,E & N, the P-47C & P-47D Thunderbolt, the P-61A Black Widow, P-70A Havoc, the PV-1N Ventura and F6F-5N Hellcat among others.

I can figure out that the B-17E Fortress plant in Seattle will follow the regular progression and eventually evolve into producing the B-24J Liberator. My question is how do other planes like those above get created if there's no plants anywhere?

They are an entry in the aircraft database that list the numbers produced each month (Off map) and not subjct to the effects of the war...

Just out of curiosity what would happen if I were to specifically add one of these planes to a base for production?

No serious effects, unless you dont remove the production number from the data base then you will be producing double the number of aircraft, and theJapanese would then have a possible chance to bomb your factory if it is located on map.
