Why don't you add a # or * to the names of the restricted commands. That way, it jogs the player's memory as to why they can't load/move those units.
eg Australia Command#

That is a good idea, Michael. I will be interested to see what the other contributors to the mod, especially Don, think about it. My memory often needs jogging. [:'(]

Not something I'd like for myself - I've been reading about these units for 50 years and know them and their limits very well. However, I could put them in if others wanted (I'll just take them back out in my own personal version).

Only possible problem is the length of the name field - a few of them are already at maximum length.

Opinions??

Adding a character to the names of the restricted HQ's wouldn't be necessary for me. I know them pretty well. I think it would only help the newby players. And, I don't think that there will be very many newby players using your mod. I think people usually start with the prepackaged game and start to use mods when they know the game a bit.

Just my opinion. That and 50 cents will buy you a cup of coffee.

I'd like to see all units be initially assigned to the West Coast so that it will take awhile for the Allied player to "activate" and move the units.

Same goes with Japan, have the units arrive as restricted HQ units (Home Defence?).

Opinions?
