I had a crash in a conquest game, map:neutral territory. I had the ai down to 1 planet when i sent my invasion force in and it crashed. I was unable to access my windows start bar, it beeped/shortcut blinked, to restart PC. I had to restart the game(i could dbl click exe) and then exit game which resolved the lockup of the windows tool bar. Sorry, i don't have a save as i got caught up in the gameplay[;)] but i'll save more often now.
Sound: Don't know if it's intentional but the "Motherships" don't have sound effects when firing, only moving.
