Most of them. David gave me a list and it was pretty all inclusive. All the software stores like EB/Game Stop, places like CompUSA, BestBuy and Costco, Circuit City and Fry's, Staples, and quite a few others as well that I can't remember. You should be able to find it if you have any major carrier of PC software.

You guys should throw a party after this one's release and sales figures start rolling in. A regular Hugh Hefner kinda party and invite all us forumers to attend. hehe

Does anyone know the speed at which Fry's Electronics usually gets new games in? Someone told me they get in late, but considering it's mainly a computer and PC parts / game store, I would think they'd jump on the newest stuff.

Over here in Australia I asked the local EB in huge Westfield Shopping Complex (only a few days ago), and they do not even have it listed. Tried a very reliable online Australian Site who are normally very good at getting stuff ordered in and after a week, for the 1st time ever have not even received an answer to my email.
Luckily I prefer DD. But was beginning to get swayed due to thought of having nice properly published manual again.
Back to DD when it arrives.

Considering there's still no release date, some places might not list it.

That's been my experience. Fry's sometimes takes weeks before a new PC game appears on their shelf. Best bet for getting a game immediately is EB, when I absolutely want to get it opening day I preorder through EB, as EB sometimes sells out on opening day.
I would definitely not count on Fry's getting it on opening day, and wouldn't be suprised if it showed up there at least a week late.

I do want to get it right on release, but I also want to use this gift certificate I have for Fry's.

Well still living in the darkages here with a 56K dial-up, guess that I am at the mercy of EB. I have this sinking feeling that the Aussie EBs won't get it in for a few months.[:(]

For those who live in Canada, and who don't have ready access to a games store, WaW will be available from Military Hobbies (with FREE shipping anywhere in Canada):

LOL Walmart and Best Buy you can count on it being 30 days late. They are the slowest of the five software outlets in my town of getting software. Fortunately we also have an EBgames, Software Etc and Hastings that are usually on the ball. But, EBgames has pretty much gone to preorders for all PC titles now, but, you do get them either a day ahead or on the day of release from them, that's why I like EBgames when I want something NOW. lol

I have noticed that Best Buy should be called Worst Buy. If there is ever an over-priced item, you are sure to find it at Best Buy. Even Future-Shop is cheaper, now that's hitting below the belt.

For the savings Amazon.com is most always the best price, because you get free shipping and no tax.
2nd best is Gogamer if you have "patience", they run these 48 hour madness sales and usually knock off $5 to $10, for RTW they knocked off $20 pretty quickly. Guess they were trying to dump their copies of them pretty quickly.
Of course the ultimate best is Ebay and finding the deal, something else that requires patience. For those of us that want this one "now", we'll pay the premium of course. But, when you just have the knowledge that it's going to be great, then premium doesn't feel so bad.
I still expect a patch or two or three, but, I do expect it to be functional and no CTD's or major flaws upon release like some other "unmentionables".
