Looking forward to a long series

Just a quick note. Alexander is proving to be like a fine wine. Something that just keeps getting better with age [;)]

Want replayability folks? I'm still getting kicks out of scenario 1. Hell, I tried a whole new strategy just now. Kept my lines solid, made use of my spears, had my archers in good location... we pushed onto the gates. What a fine line I'm keeping. The Thebians are shaking...

And Big Al get's himself wounded! Now my troops are shaking!

Time expires - this game owner earns himself a defeat [:D]

K'Works - only one minor suggestion if not too late: Is it possible to change the morale state messages that pop-up on screen at the start of a turn? They sometimes can flash too quickly if more than one is announced or get obscured by the turn announcement box.

Now can anyone suggest a good Caesar book? [:)]

Caesar by Theodore Ayrault Dodge, or the Gallic Wars by Caesar.

Good to see you're enjoying alexander as well, we should play over the internet, for an interesting challenge.

Thanks Copper - I have Dodge's Alexander in fact. Very prolific. I know of Caesar's one you mention too. That does look to be as close to the action one can get [:)]
