Possible strategy?

I was wondering, if for Germany it would be a possible strategy to delay the attack on USSR as much as needed and take Britain? I dont ask if it is the best strategy, it might be a very hard, yet possible strategy...or completely impossible?
Of course the fight against USSR would be all the harder, but the WA would have to stage attacks from America or Africa, which prolly help a lot to ward them off?
I assume the Luftwafe would have to pay a hefty price and you would have to abandon Africa altogether, but with a wise Japan on the other front, could it work?

It is possible, but in no way easy against a good opponent. It will cause a postponement of the invasion of Russia as you will need to build up your transport force, airforce, and/or para force to pull it off, and that will take some time (unless your opponent makes a mistake and leaves England open).

Oky, so it is not really possible, I was more meaning with the starting forces, or a very few turns(exemple, a landing on first turn followed with a renforcement on the next turn or 2 + build up for the finishing, even if the conquering would have take much longer, but your answer seem more like you need the build up before thinking of anything hehe).

It would not be possible to conduct a landing on the first turn. You need to take France first. A landing on turn 2 is possible, but only a poor Allied player will leave it so weak as to allow your 1 infantry (all you can amphibiously lift) and 1 airborne unit (with air support) to take London. You might be able to take Scotland, but again, not very likely. You need more transports and/or air units to really have a decent chance.
