Since you guys are generally the experts, what makes Bombay have a 20 point Shipyard Repair and places like Manila and Soerbaja have none?
Thanks.

We have already added repair to Soerabaja. What information do you have about Manila?

Correct Cavite had limited repair facilities, several ships were under repair on 12/7 and one sub was sunk in the raid on 12/10 still unable to get underway. I have added small repair facilities to Soerbaja, Cavite and Perth in my scenarios.

I don't have any reason to say that Manila should have a repair yard, but it was the US Naval Base for Asia fleet. I was just curious as to why the game gave one to Bombay and why Manila di not get one. Does Bombay have more/larger dry docks, repair facilities ??

What size of yards did you give to Soerjaba, Cavite and Perth?

I'm pretty sure Don Bowen was thinking of adding floating drydocks to ship classes, or some of the larger ones anyway. "Dewey" dock at Cavite was one of them.

Whats the point??? And just what service would they provide...
There is no mechanism for them to operate unless classified as AR's and even then they wont be much help... Going a bit overboard guys... There is a point when historical accuracy and the game engine dont mix and you all are passing that point...

You should see the things we decided not to add!
However, the Dewey Drydock was added as an AR, primarily because it is listed in the OOB for the Asiatic Fleet.
It is also increasingly obvious that the combined historical scenario will not please everyone. For every person requesting a feature there is another abhoring it. I'm sure you are familar with these problems.
It will be what it will be, as best as can be done by the bunch of us. No one will agree with everything that has been put in or been left out. Everyone is free to comment.

Let's just get this to Spooky's and be done with it until we've all had some time to delve into its' wonderous wealth of effort. I for one am dying to give it a good run. Maybe after a few weeks of play we can make some corrections but until then, let's have some fun.
