Printed Manual with ordered Game CD???

Hi all,

I turned up for work this morning, only to be pleasantly surprised by finding my order of Starshatter had arrived and was sat on my desk.

I opened it to check the contents and found inside the box, 1 CD. I wondered if anything else was supposed to be included, mainly a printed manual?

Is it supposed to include a printed manual, or is it going to be a *.pdf after the install? (as all that's on the CD is the setup.exe file).

I dunno about printed manuals, but setup should install the manual PDF(s) to the game directory.

Thanks for the reply Shoe.

Has anybody actually ordered a boxed version? If so, did you get a printed manual with it?

I'd settle for the .pdf . . . wasn't included when I installed, though I did get the label art .pdfs :)

I've got the demo, maybe that's the problem . . . I know I'm loving the graphics, I'm loving the gameplay and I'd prolly buy the game if I could just RTFM :)

I /loved/ the old Wing Commander games (Still have 'em on floppy somewhere. Who'd a'thunk they'd ever bemoan the loss of that primordial pre-Pentium 486 ?!?) Starshatter has that . . . flavor, but better in every way. Not too simple, not too complicated, but involved just right :) The kick a** graphics help, and a sound score that fits don't hurt. But not being able to decipher all the gobbledy-gook is a downer :(

(Just in case the gods-that-be happen to read this, /I'm not knocking anything/. My mind shies from the thought of doing a project like this. Starshatter, in a word, is awesome. Lives up to it's name :) I'm sure the problem is on my end.)
