Ive made many bad mistakes in my first Pbem, but i have learnt from them and will continue on with that. But im looking for a second pbem opponent to right the wrongs of my first game and see if ive learnt anything [:D]

But im looking for a second allied opponent perferably in a european timezone as i am UK, maybe east coast America would be the largest time difference i would allow.


So i need a rookie allied opponent for Scenario 15

Historical first turn

December 7th Suprise on

Allied sub doc off

Jap sub doc off

1 day turns

Fog of war on

Advanced weather effects on

Allied damage control on

Reinforcements Fixed


I would perfer to wait until 1.5 is released which should be end of the month (fingers crossed)

hi Joe , I've not played a PBEM game of WITP before ( athough i did one or 2 UV games ). I have played a lot as Japan vs the AI so I really am a new allied player and I'd be up for the challenge. My e-mail is robbrennan@btinternet.com and as you can see im in the UK too. I can also guarantee 1 turn/day or more as I'm off work due to illness atm [:(] . However going away for a few days over easter so we will have a small break over that period.

was just looking at the forum and i'm using a map mod 'sub-chasers' i think. I think this affects pbem .. no idea what i did with the original one . probably overwrote it ( i'm very lazy about doing back up's )[:D]

Erm, im using original map mod and im not to keen on using subchasers, im also a bit lazy about back up's and wouldnt want to mess up my current game, so i dont know what could be done about that.

Im also off school for easter (yes im 15) so i can get off a few turns, 1 turn a day is cool though it should pick up on certain weeks.

So if you can somehow get the original map back :S we've got a game for 1.5 yes?

Yeah I'm happy to wait till 1.5 , It should help both sides .. Jap can finally upgrade nates (big help ) and I can get rid of those damn wirra-coffins ASAP [:D]. I'm quite excited about this .. felling young again myself now .. You've cheered an old man up

I'll be away from this friday till either monday/wednesday next week .. So if you want to start a game sooner with someone else, don't mind me [8D].

Ill send you an email so you can get my email. Dont know when 1.5 will come out but hopefully this months end so we can start this time next week, maybe earlier.

Sounds great I'm looking forward to my first PBEM Pacific game. I have a feeling its going to be a life-sapper [:D]

This game is a life sapper [:D], i might also do a AAR for this Pbem if you would like to do your own seperate allied one feel free, i liked the idea of doing one but never did for my first pbem, not gonna miss this opperatunity this time!.

Just to let you know - if you have installed Subchasers map you can still play PBEM against someone with the original map. They are compatible (actually there are a few minor differences in the map art but that does not affect gameplay).
