Well i just got the game today and figured i'd jump right into the deep end from the get go. It will take me some time to be good at the game but i have a basic understanding of how to do everything, but im having trouble with supply as it pertains to transport ships. Seeing as how i don't have the ships (playing as germany) to leave a trail of transports behind an advancing fleet i figure well i'll just load up a transport ship with supply trucks and send it along for the ride. So i select my transport and start right clicking on supply trucks in the region to link them with said transport. Problem is i then can't move the transports, every where i put curser it says "illegal move"

can't find anything in the book in regards to putting supply trucks on transport ships so i could just be doing it wrong....any help would be appreciated

I think you're doing it wrong. You have to place a "chain" of transport fleets, then move supply icon (truck) over that chain. That is how you do that. You can move more than one supply truck over a "chain", per turn.

Yes, you can load a supply truck (or any other unit) on transport ship (notice ship's icon will change to signify it's loaded), but a transport ship cannot move then. It does not work that way in WAW.

BTW, Germany is not the best country to test and train transoceanic transport of supplies [:D] Try this with WA it will be more intuitive I think.

k thanx for the quick reply [&o] was hopeing not to have to do it like that, but if thats the way it has to be done..i can see a great many transport ships being sunk doing their duty [:D] because as i mentioned and you know germany dosn't have many ships to leave around protecting a long supply chain
