Can supply trucks be captured or destroyed? Is it a bad idea to leave trucks alone in a region near the front?

Supply can be destroyed. It is a very bad idea to leave them alone near the front. If your opponent can exploit with armour, it bad to leave them alone even two spaces from the front.

Also, supply units left on transports will naturally be lost if that transport is sunk.

yes units can be captured and destroyed in a counter attack.or a regular attack.

They cannot be captured, only destroyed.

just to confirm that if the region is captured, the supplies got destoryed ... and will NEVER retreat with the rest of the retreating army, right?

I've seen one instance where supply on a transport was not destroyed when the transport was destroyed. A sub killed the transport, and the supplies just sat there in the sea along with the rest of the fleet. This was posted as a possible bug, and I'm trying to duplicate it now.
