The manual says if I attack Northern Persia, Turkey, or Afghanistan, the Soviets are unfrozen. What if I attack Southern Persia? How about Saudi Arabia?

As far as I know, attacking Southern Persia should not cause the Soviets to unfreeze, at least it's not supposed to.

Thanks. It seems odd that North Persia would unfreeze the Sovs but South Persia wouldn't. My game strategy kinda hinges on gobbling up resources before taking on the Russians, so I sure hope South Persia doesn't!
