so i dont havta put one supply truck for every combat unit in a region?like say the russians for instance.i wouldnt have to have supply trucks in my front line regions i can put them say couple regions behind front line?but do i need to make sure i still have enough rail movment left between my supplies and my front line units to move a truck up to them for every unit ?so that whn they are attacked they have access to supplies?

I think, to defend, you just need one supply unit adjacent to or in the same province as the defending units. But I have no clue whether one truck can supply 3 adjacent provinces on defense.

For every area that needs to "defend", they require one (1) supply truck per area.

Supply can be pulled from the area or adjacent area only.

Supply cannot be used more than once. One supply is consumed for one area defense. So, one truck cannot supply three adjacent areas. The first one attacked will consume the supply

So if I understand this

Area 1 has 1 supply and no supplies in the adjacent areas.

I attack with 1 militia and fail of course that uses up that supply. I then attack during the same turn with my main force. So now that area is out of supply? Or is that supply good for the whole turn regardless of how many time it is attacked.

I understand that the adjacent supply can only be commited to on area for defense but how many fights are consider that defense per turn.

One supply unit will supply an area for an ENTIRE turn, regardless of how many attacks.
