CARRIERS?

Carrier fleets/ carrier air seem awful week. I've been playing around setting up combos to see what happens and carriers just seem week. For example 2xcarrier w/ air + 1x L. FLEET + 1 x SUB FLEET vs 1HEAVY + 3xLIGHT+1xTRANSPORT is a no contest. (useing 1940 start).

Carriers are not meant for ship to ship combat. Use the carrier air group to go attack that ".vs." fleet and then follow up with the sub and see what your results are.
The naval battles are random as to the number of combatants any way. The air attacks are not. Keep your carrier fleet far from naval combat and send in waves of planes. That should do the trick
