Guys got a problem and dont know what to do. I have a large contingent of german special forces. Last turn two of them popped up right smack in the middle of the Polish forces. They are actually right on top of 2 platoons. How do i get them to meelee the ones they are on top of. Should I just let them stand until more help arrives or should I attack. They are an expendable force by the way. Just wanted them to locate the large mortor force the poles always have and destroy what they could. Dont remember what the key command is and how I make it work to meelee. I can target the poles but have been unable to make them meelee or over run with my tanks when the opportunity arrives. Any help or suggestions on this will be appreciated. With where they popped I figure the casualty rate will be more then 50% but can live with this. Just want them to have some kind of chance and not because I forgot the commands.

robot IIRC, it's alt-m for melee and alt-o for overrun.

Note Jim's guess below, but one thing you can always try in a situation like that is save the game at that point so you can reload it if you screw up and just start hitting keys. You can do this in any game as you can start hitting all the keys plus those in combination with others. Usually if you know what the command is called, such as melee in this case, that's usually a dead giveaway that the command is either 'm', 'shift-m', 'alt-m', 'ctrl-m', or 'ctrl-shift-m'. Most games don't get into using three keys such as ctrl-shift-m.

Tried the key combos including ctrl-m. Still didnt meelee even tho he had full movement and no suppression. I got the target with the t key and hit the ctrl-m combo nothin happened. He was sitting right in the same hex as the enemy by the way. They are all coming up in the same square so will have several to try and see if i can get it to work. The plattoon was wiped out but not before taken a bunch of the enemy with him. Others are starting to pop now so will try the key combo with each one. thanx guys

ALT-M for melee, not CNTL-M. Are you able to target the Poles with key the keyboard command?

FYI. There is a help tab on the right bottom of action menu that brings up most of the commands as an overlay on the left side of the screen.
