As Germany, I seem to be unable to produce from all of the captured Russian factories I am holding onto. I seem to have wasted mountains of supply fixing them (100% repaired), because now I am in the production screen and I can't find them anywhere. Can't build anything there.

What is going on?

The rule book (pg 84) says repairing Factory Centers "takes effect immediately when done." So I shouldn't have to wait a turn.

Even if you did have to wait a turn, the factory I fixed last turn would have come on line.

Now, if I open the "Production Summary Screen", I see the Russian factories listed under "Captured" (the white flag). But they don't show up under Captured in the Production Screen.

Help! Clearly, in this game based on production and where victory is decided by production, I cannot win if I waste supplies fixing factories that cannot produce.

You have to wait a turn, regardless of what the manual says. Then they should show under "captured"

Doesn't the production routine take place at the start of each turn before the German goes? That's why your factories don't produce anything on the turn they are repaired, because resource allocation to factories actually happens before you go.
