Gettysburg - The Turning Point

I was browsing the forum and Joel Billings name triggered some dead brain cells. Turns out the name is familiar because Joel was the founder of SSI. Gettysburg - The Turning Point was one of my favorite games of all time. In fact, that game began my love of computer war games. Anyway, Here's to hoping that GGWAW is the launch pad for many new computer war gamers, just as Gettysberg lured me into this hobby.

P.S - if you ever remake that game - you can count on at least one pre-order [;)]

Wayllander, as per another post an American Civil War game is being coded as we type. The GGWaW engine is being used for the game. Can't wait.

I know - I can't wait for the civil war games based on the waw engine!

Actually, I think the Apple IIe version was superior in regards to graphics :)

Is the Gettysburg even available somewhere? Like a freeware by now most probably. Some old games have a lot of character.
