Editing Upgrade Path for Soviet Aircraft

I just played the to the death scenario - I lost - which is very good and one of the few that gives the Germans a good chance of holding on if they do not achieve their 1941 aims.
However the Soviet lagg, La 5, La 5 FN and La 7 do not upgrade from one to the next destroying Soviet chances of inflicting serious damage on Axis air dominance until Mid 1944.
Does anyone know how I can fix this so
Lag 33 aircraft upgrade to La 5 and then La 5 FN and La 7.

Any help would be appreciated.

i'v been working on 'tweaking' 3.3 lately and let me tells ya, the soviet aircraft are a complete mess when it comes to upgrading. i can't give details right now as i can't find my ms office cd to install excel (i had to reinstall xp 3 weeks ago), but upgrades are based on time of arrival so that all aircraft get a reasonable amount of production time, and not based on keeping to 1 manufacturer for the whole upgrade path(Yak/LaGG-La/MiG). the main reason for this is that there are many more (too many!) LaGG/La types than there are Yak so they switch back and forth to each other - if you put all the LaGG/La aircraft upgrading to each other only, some aircraft would only be produced for a few short weeks! and conversly if you have the Yak's all upgrade to each other some of them would be produced for up to 3 years!! this can be partially fixed by eliminating the LaGG-3 s33 which was in reality only a very minor upgrade to the LaGG-3, but it opens up many other cans of worms as in general all the soviet aircraft are a HUGE mess. i ended up having to paste deniss air stats over the old ones after a while because even though i tried and tried there was no way to fix that mess without a complete overhaul. in general all aircraft in WiR are at least somewhat messed up, but it is impossible to tell unless you really know your WW II aircraft!
