I airlifted part of a base force from base A to base B (to get some air support there). Later I airlifted rest of the same base force from A to base C (whole of it, since it had no heavy equipment) and got a message about subunits merging. When I checked next turn, there was no part of the unit left at A (as it shouldn't), the part I sent to base B was still there (changed to full unit by name, but not strength), but no part of it in base C where the parts there were supposed to be merging. I checked the master list and there was no sign of the unit except in base B.

It seems the missing part did go to the replacement pool and came back in two weeks or so, but to Noumea.
