A call to arms

Alright, who wants to beat on me? [:D]
Following the discussion on the main boards about Axis auto-victory being too easy or Japan always invading Russia, I've taken it upon myself to prove that it isn't hopeless for the Allies. Hopefully, I'll inspire others to develop better Allied strategy.
Focus on the Med, delay invading Russia or do a 2-way Russia squeeze. It's all good. I want to be convinced that the Allies are underpowered.
My only requirements:
- FOW off (if it's unbeatable, you have nothing to hide [;)] )
- Auto, Area Supply are determined per player ( I like them on)
I'll be aiming for a turn a day, but sometimes work keeps me VERY busy. I can't promise there won't be delays, but I'll promise to keep you up-to-date if I see I can't make a turn.
Finally, I'm aiming to experiment with different tactics to counter the Axis moves. I'll document as much as possible, but I'm not aiming for the win or bragging rights, I just want to see what works and what doesn't.
