Experienced Japanese player required for CHS

I would like to play the CHS full scenario as Allies. One turn per day would be the target. By "full" scenario I mean scenario 155 with Andrew Brown's map including the Middle East/Panama bits.

House Rules:-

Sub Doctrines - both Off
Allied Damage Control - On
Historical 1st Turn - at Japanese player's discretion
Dec 7th Surprise - On
Player-defined Upgrades - On

If non-historical 1st turn is chosen I will give no orders. However, I would expect the Japanese player not to come looking for my CVs at their known positions ... :)

More House Rules:-

No HQ changes until 1st Jan 1942
For Japan, no land units assigned to Kwantung Area Army to be moved to China.
For Allies, no land units assigned to China Command to be moved to Burma.
No Japanese surface ships adjacent to the "grey areas" around Middle East/Panama - i.e no moving " up the channels" except by subs.
No Allied air units to be air transferred out of Middle East/Panama - they all have to go by sea.

If you're interested please email me at cruft@sprandom.com. I am open to additional house rules but those stated above are non-negotiable.

OK, I am quite frankly desperate to play the CHS as the Allies :)

So ...

Who is interested if all House Rules go out the window? In other words, Japanese player can do what he likes on first turn (and thereafter).

The only caveat is that player should be experienced with Japan. The CHS is IMHO a very different and more difficult game than the stock scens.

Post here, send a PM or send email to cruft@sprandom.com.

Thanks :)

where do you find that scenario?

At Spooky's http://mathubert.free.fr

There are three components:

1) Special extended map by Andrew Brown.
2) Art for the new ships and planes.
3) The CHS scenario itself (slot 155).

Since the map data file (pwhex.dat) is different this will not easily co-exist with an existing WitP installation. You can try and swap the files in and out but I would recommend making a completely separate installation.

Yes in two separate folders.

How about having a separate installation on a separate computer? I'm going to try that on my extra computer.

That would work too ... :) Although you can get the CHS to co-exist with the generic game it is undoubtedly less risky to maintain it as a separate entity.
