If Germany attacks the ships in the eastern Med before they take France, then any damaged German ships are destroyed.

I just tested this on the first turn of the scenario and the damaged ships were returned to port normally. Can you give more information about what you did and ideally send a save game to 2by3@2by3games.com just before the combat. I was using the latest patch we are testing, but I don't know of any changes that would have impacted this.

The bug appears to occur under Windows 2000 but not under Windows XP.

I just emailed you a save game with the bug. The bug occurs randomly so the game I sent is right after combat.
