Demo available ?

I need a good 4X game , so few anymore seems like the genre died a few years back. I had a look at the downloads and only patch available, also the RFTS homepage didnt have a demo either . is one available ?

Currently no demo is available. We may have one made, but at this time it is unavailable.

To clarify, as soon as we are sure we've resolved the issues affecting some customers, we'll incorporate those fixes into a final demo and release it.

Go on ahead and buy the game. I doubt you will regret a moment of it. I have just scratched the surface and so far been having a blast. I would recomend the game very highly. It reminds me of MOO in it's level of fun and is alot smoother and has a better feel. Plus with all the races and combinations you can play I will more than get my moneys worth out of Matrix for this one.

My life is taken up with war in the pacific PBEMS at the mo ,, along with annoying real-life (sigh) . [;)]
i wanted a taster .. i'll probably buy it eventually ..

Really? MOO is one of my favorite games. I may have to give this a look despite the poor reviews in general.
