I was flying a Spit IXe in 1945, spotted and dove behind some FW's that were plodding along,in a good tight finger four

tried to swoop down and line up for maybe a double, but was off a little on the turn, and missed with the first burst, but the 2nd burst hit the number 4 man pretty good, I used my E to go up and over the other planes and started to climb away, when I seen they didn't break or chase, rolled onto my back and dove back into them

came down and got a good line on the the number 2 man, and started to lite him up, then I see the 3 man start to slide over toward me and my target

this could be almost a dream shot when BLAM, my Target blew apart, the force of the plane exploding, chopped the wing off of the number 3 man, and peppered the wings and body of the number 1 man

the leader tried to do a lazy climbing turn, and was a easy kill, just like that 4 planes were down

from that pic, the plane that exploded was inbetween the other two FW's

this is what the leader looked like before I brought him down

is more damage to the body, but couldn't get a shot of the body and the trailing plane at the same time

the bad part is I didn't get the kill for the broken wing FW

but that was one of the prettest 3 somes you are ever going to see
