I am a Newbie Looking for someone with patient to learn how to play but only got version 1 cannot get upgrades to work???

yes i am using the correct legal serial number.

where do i download the serial number application?

OK I downloaded The Serial application but that just tells me my serial number??

Still casnnot update with any patches same error "invalid serial number"

Did you copy and paste the serial number?...when I did it a couple of times, it added a space after the last digit of the serial and the install didn't like it.

Have you tryied copying serial number off screen, highlight right click copy then paste directly into serial number box on update screen... u may be inadvertantly doing/typing something wrong.

Otherwise check your pathway to where the WITP file is located and or make sure u are doing the patches in order.

Sorry thats all i can help you with.. Try Mr FRAG he is the bomb!! on this stuff. Sure helped me with getting the patches to work.

Did the serial work in the original installation?

Redownload the game and you will get at least 1.4 right off the bat...probably 1.5 by now.
