Kills counting is unfair

I think the kills are quite unfair and tells not much after all. Im talking about infantry. There is a big difference between killing of a 12-men squad of spec ops and killing of 1 fleeing man and both are worth of one kill. The squads which are finishing the last resistance have after few battles in campaign lots of kills and other units only few or none although they fought harder.
The best solution is to count kills of solid targets (tanks, guns, bunkers etc.) and count kills of single men (not squads!) separately.
I'm also a little curious if the units get experiences only by finishing some other unit or also by killing part of the squads.
This all is not only about statistics. With this change would be much easier to see which type of unit is more effective.

My second note is a question. Is there possible to make possibility to change drop points of my paratroops after beginning of scenerio? I think they have radio for sure...

Actually expereince is gained every time your units fire their weapons. THe kills are basically there for "show" they count some, but not as much as "being in the thick if things"

Didn't know that. I thought a unit got experience for the final destruction of an enemy. Still learning something new every day!

...even doing nothing in the game gives some touch-up of your unit skills! But shooting and killing gives more...

Paul,

Not to game the system or anything but if firing weapons results in additional experience does that mean using the "Z" key and firing at a empty square with result in added experience?
