Nice idea dimming the map to represent different levels of light during the day and night, but i do find it makes it a little difficult to see map detail...could this be implemented in a slightly different way that maintained the clarity of the map?

Perhaps just an option to turn it off?

embis,

103 has an option to change a number of the color options for various functions and adds a few new things like a line of fire. A number of these items can have their color and transparency setting changed as you like. I believe it will even change the dimming color too.

We all are - I need a rest!

Yes indeed, you can play with the night time and also the new twilight color overlays to your heart's content and get exactly the shade and transparency that you want. If you get a better one then what I have then send me your colors file and I'll steal it!
