Hello WaW junkies,

I'm right off the transport but willing to go the distance with a 4 player pbem game...
(sounds like most end in early capitulation due to lack of some players not winning[:-])

I'd play any side but thought R/Ch would make sense for my first attempt.

I would be willing to play assuming you all are dedicated. This is actually going to be my first PBEM for WaW, although I have some experience playing WitP PBEM. Ok, It looks like we have everything lined up. However, I am not familiar with how PBEM works in this game. I assume Germany has to send the file off first. So.... What exactly do I need to set everything up as preference and gameplay wise? Also, do I just take my turn and then it will automatically go to the save game screen as in WiTP?

yes, germany has to send the file to Jpn (ie me)
just set the game options as mentioned by Fazman in the game option, click the pbem box in main menu, make sure ger is 1, jpn is 2, Rus+Chn are 3 and WA is 4 .... and here u go!

Germany sets up game and emails to Japan i believe.
Everyone logs a password on their first turn , yes?

As far as settings , ?? use the above i guess.

Ok. I will get to work on the first turn. It will probably get sent to you tomorrow. I might get together with Japan on an AAR as well. That way we can do an Axis AAR. Also, everyone will be able to see what a complete idiot I am.

good to meet someone from Germany (but why dont u play Germany instead?)
as mentioned, its my first time playing JPN alone in pbem game and my JPN exp never reach the pacific war (but i did play a WA game vs AI and manage to crush the JPN navy but i expect it will be a lot more challenging for human opponents).

i said to Faz before, that i am willing to play all factions, and the WA are left for me, that is good for me.

I am glad not always have to play Germany as the evil German! [;)]

I think, JPN is the most complex faction to play, so i wish you good luck, but not too much! [:)]

Well it should be coming around later I would assume. I sent it to the Japanese player's hotmail. You know, the set up we have really makes it quite hard to do more than one turn in a day. We are all awake at different times.

Ger Sp40 round rec'd but cant play until im home in around 7hrs from now ...
will make it my first priority when i come home but really doubt whether Fazman is still awake when i send the turn to him.

while its not possible to do more than one turn a day on weekdays, i can play a morning round and an afternoon/evening round on weekends (Sat+Sun) and i do hope that it will improve the speed of our game ...

another suggestion, but dont know whether it will work or not, is to swap the Allies players such that the turn will go to europe first b4 to the two NA players. but thats just my suggestion for the sake of speeding the game up, im happy to have the existing set up.
