Carrier Trained ... Carrrier Capable

Hello ,
Carrier trained are specific units for carriers ok . Do they also appear as separate units , for instance do the exact number of carrier trained units match the space available on the carriers .

Carrier Capable are units that can go on carriers but I think I read they may suffer higher op losses .

My question is at what level ?

Does the experience of say a carrier capable unit at say 80 and a carrier trained at 60 equate to the same for these losses ?

Also is the a carrier capable Mitchell unit for a Dolittle raid ?

You do not recieve any carrier trained units as reinforcements (that I am aware of)

True

You're definately going to suffer high ops losses on a unit (carrier trained or not), that has only 40 exp.

Does the experience of say a carrier capable unit at say 80 and a carrier trained at 60 equate to the same for these losses ?
What equates to what, don't know. FWIW, you don't suffer unbearable ops losses with carrier CAPABLE units at 60 exp. At 50 exp, I wouldn't use a capable unit on a CV, but 60 is ok. But I don't know what exp levels might roughly equate in capable vs. trained.

Also is the a carrier capable Mitchell unit for a Dolittle raid ?
No.

Welcome Fokkov, always good to meet another DUTCHIE on this forum [;)]. If we Dutch stick together we can give some counterweight to al these YANKS in here [8D]

I'm not sure if anyone has tried this yet, but I had some shriveled up carrier trained units that WERE on a CVE that were reduced to like 2 or three pilots / planes. So I disbanded another, larger carrier capable unit of the same types. At first everything seemed cool. Then all the planes disappeared and went down to 2 or three like they were before, exept they have 30 some pilots.

Is there a fix for this?

You might have been using the VR squadrons on the CVEs. It's generally bad karma to mess with these.

Hallo Willie,

I have been reading this forum at longer , but finaly joined
because i was anoid with al the bad comments on the dutch nei forces.[&:]

Also a lot of mis information regarding the whereabouts of the remaining forces after the fall
of the nei .

Regarding kicking some yanks ass,
Lately during a navel exercise in the atlantic our sub boys managed to get inside one of the
carriers tf, and got a conformd kill on the carrier and a tigonderoga cruiser and escaped undetected
(being a diesel sub).
As in witp the dutch subs give the best results ( as was the fact in 41-42)[8|]
