I am sorry for my basic German, but Allied AI seems timid to me. I am playing Russians and Chinese and felt almost like Stalin in the real war. There was a bulk of Wehrmacht deployed in the East, with nothing but two militia in Western France. Yet, my AI allies kept sending Swordfish or some other tactical bombers to take pot shots at militia instead of doing even a raid in order to destroy French resources, factories and railroad and thus make German spend some supplies.

When Allies eventually landed, German AI did its mandatory feat of pulling out of Russia and preparing a Festung in West Germany. Allies seemed quite content to leave the actual fighting to me. Instead of taking virtually undefended Norway, Italy or Greece, it keeps pumping troops to France without even bothering to protect its convoys in the Mediterranean or North Sea that were slaughtered by submarines and Italian navy.

Why doesn't Allied AI bomb German naval units in the port? German AI did bomb the hell out of my Soviet fleets in the port of Caucasus.

I also noticed how Allied AI has no inclination what so ever to liberate northern region of Australia even when my Chinese captured Manchuria and opened the new front for Soviets.

Yup, WA AI is terribly timid.
I capture Mexico, sitting right next door to 1/3 of the USA. Does the AI defend itself? NO! It has a pile of guys in Washington (like 12-15 Infantry, tanks, fighters & etc), but doesn't move anything to SW or SC USA to try to stop me. I fight the 2 Militia in each, then the 1 & 3 in NW and NC USA next turn with little fear of retaliation.

Next patch guys! Give the WA AI some brains please!

@5cats: Well, given the unlikely event of an Axis invasion of the USA I'm sure that part of the AI got low priority. If you are doing that well as the Axis, it is game over any how.

Well, I sure shouldn't be doing that well! I mean there is NO resistance at all.
Sad enough that I can take Panama and then Mexico without a fuss, but they should at least move some infantry down there automatically when Mexico falls.
Spread those units out! The threat of Amphibious Invasion in limited, but once Axis troops are in Mexico they are a very real threat! Anything is better than "pile them in Washinton & wait"

You're forgetting the first rule of playing vs. any AI:

No funny stuff!
