Scen 15, slow paced Allied opponent wanted

Well, I decided it was time to get my head kicked in as the Japanese, via a PBEM. I'd say I'm at least average, and that could go up or down based upon the results. Can do 3 to 4 turns a week. It might increase to one a day, but no promises. Was thinking of the setting the following to OFF:

sub doctrine, vary setup, set all facilities to upgrade, auto upgrade, auto sub ops and accept air and ground replacements

Reinforcement variance 15 days.

I don't know how long the turn cycle should be. One day would be my preference but only playing 3 or 4 turns a week may not be realistic. Has anyone done two turns per day?

Need some help with the house rules part.

Thanks,
Scott

I'm game. Your setup conditions sound okay and I like one day turns. (A couple of proposed starts fell through and I'm back in the market to suffer again...[;)])

I like one day turns.

I'm not big on house rules - there are enough minor problems with the game that a house rule can come back to make things unnecessarily frustrating later on.

Do you want a "historic" start or a "non-historic" start?
