2D or 3D games?

Strategic Level Combat (large unit size) or Tactical Level Combat (small unit size)?

Strategic Level Wargames or Tactical Level Wargames?

Do you play any games other than Wargames? (i.e. RPG, FPS, etc)

Personally, I prefer 2D in wargames with 2D strategic level combat. I prefer a strategic level wargame as opposed to a tactical level wargame.

I play plenty of other games besides wargames which include FPSs and RPGs. Actually, most of the wargames I play are not on the computer (although I am also waiting for the CWiF, but I won't hold my breath or anything for that one).

Haven't played too many games other than strategic type wargames. However, i have played: older d&ds (Pools of Radiance, etc.), Baldur's Gate, Myst, Starship Troopers and a few others. Mostly avoid FPS type games.

I played all of them. My first buy was SL and ASL; my second WiF; my third Flattop; the next one a RPG (SW). I tried a lot of games but only a few have succeeded in keeping my interest.
But with good friends, i'm still ready to play anything with two exeptions : FPS (no one now has the charm of Doom and Duke Nukem) and two board games where pieces were wood dices concealing the enemy strength (ranging from one to four) where i was a«lways attacking the strongest corps - the names are east and west front if i remember well.

I played Napoleon 1813 and Europa Universalis for a lil while, they were both essentially 2D games and full of bugs. :p

Agreed. Want fantastic graphics, go play the likes of Lineage 2. Though never make graphics so poor I would think of a rapid exit once my eyes met the screen. :p
