An MTLB armoured personnel carrier with what appears to be US Army crew. Must be from either the NTC or the JRTC.

beat me here.
i'd have says some BMP or ,other russian armored personal carrier
Suestions : what is a MTLB, NTC, JRTC ???

An MTLB is a Soviet-made armoured personnel carrier.

NTC and JRTC are the National Training Center and Joint Readiness Training Center in the United States, which train US Army units. Both institutions operate Eastern Block weapons and vehicles (both real and look-alike) to make the training more realistic; the JRTC even has an Mi-24 Hind attack helicopter!

I had heard of russian material being used for tranining purposes.
never saw one as far as i was concerned.
one of my friend got face to face to Russian material, but still inhabitated with russian people (before fall of the wall, of course).
Got in reverse and found his way back.
Seems the border was not so hermetic as it is sometimes fabled.

The US got a lot of their Russian military equipment from Israel, who had ready access to masses of it after taking it from its Arab former owners.
