In regions43 file there is a line in Northern Italy region:

UNIT,FIGHTER,1

whose syntax is wrong, which results with no German fighter in Northern Italy.

What was the intent of the designer? To have a fighter (meaning we have to insert word "AIR" behind word "FIGHTER") or not (meaning we can ignore this line or put "//" in front of it, to avoid all confusion)?

Good catch. I looked back in an OOB totals file I had and I had Germany with 8 fighters in that scenario. Since they have 8 when I load the scenario into the game, it looks like I had accounted for that fighter not being in Italy, so the scenario files are fine as they are.
